My passion is baking. I have been helping my mom cook and bake since i was was like 5. I love baking because you get to mix up recipes and you can be really creative with it. I love adding ingredients like cinnamon, extracts, chocolate , pudding for moisture, and this one sounds really weird and gross but sour cream for moisture and makes it really creamy. I also love to make peanut butter cream cheese frosting. This is going to lead my into my next topic…recipies.
I love cooking unique recipes and make mixes even better and see how they taste. One of my favorite cakes to make is a chocolate peanut butter cake. I start off with a regular chocolate cake mix box recipe. Next i add about ⅓ – ¼ cup of peanut butter this step will also help with moisture. Third i turn my oven on 350 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes and then let the cake cool. Forth to make the frosting you are going to want a stick of cream cheese, ½ cup of peanut butter, vanilla extract 1 ⅓ tablespoons, and lately sugar 1-4 table spoons of sugar. You then put all the ingredients in a bowl. Make sure you blend the frosting together on a low speed with an electric hand mixer for about 3-4 minutes for creaminess. After the cake is completely cooled you can put the frosting on and you are good. That is all you have to do.
This is a great post! My mom likes to bake, sometimes I get to help her, but I should ask to help more often. Those pictures of cakes look soooooooooo good.
